The Benton County Sheriff’s Office 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser is the HOTTEST event of the year! Teams from public safety and community organizations compete for the honor of “Benton’s Best Rootin’ Tootin’ Shoot’em Up Chili!”
This year’s BCSO Chili Cook-Off is on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the Benton County Fairgrounds, 110 SW 53rd Street, Corvallis, Oregon. Doors open at High Noon and the event closes at 4:00 p.m. Entry fee is $5 at the door and ?1/2 off with military ID. Kids under five years of age are free.
This family-friendly event includes music, raffle prizes, the REACH Air-Medical Services helicopter (when it’s not in service), demonstrations by public safety professionals, Sheriff’s Mounted Posse, activities for the kids, and chili tasting! Soda, hotdogs, ice cream, and beer by Block 15 will be available.
Along with the Cook-off, we are holding our 2nd Annual Preparedness Fair. While you are at the fairgrounds for the fundraiser, you can stop by this free event to get tips on emergency preparedness for your family, including pets!
A different local non-profit is chosen as a recipient each year for this fundraiser. This year’s proceeds will benefit local law enforcement K-9 programs and the Benton County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse. For more details, visit the website here.
