Holidays at the Capitol Maintains its 39th Year by Hosting Virtual Tree Lighting and Streaming Last Year’s Choir Performances Online

Holidays at the Capitol was scheduled to kick off Tue, Dec. 1, at 5 p.m. Instead, the annual tree lighting ceremony has moved online and will be streamed at https://bit.ly/3lOBnoE and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/OregonCapitol keeping the original date and time. Speakers include Senate President Peter Courtney, House Speaker
Tina Kotek, and other dignitaries, as well as a visit from Santa who will lead the countdown to a montage of past Capitol Grand Trees coming alive with the glow of white lights. Starting 8 a.m. Tue, Dec. 2, last year’s choirs will be streamed at https://bit.ly/3lRaNLN . This will be a daily loop (approximately 24 hours), starting at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday.
