Author Tina Connolly will be hosted by Grass Roots Bookstore, 645 NW Monroe Ave, Corvallis, OR 97330 on Tuesday, November 15th at 4:00 pm to discuss her new stand-alone YA, Seriously Shifted, which follows last year’s Andre Norton Award-nominated Seriously Wicked. She will be reading from Seriously Shifted and answering audience questions at this free event, which will have books available for purchase and signing.

Tina Connolly earned a reputation for her adult alternate history series, which began with Ironskin, a Nebula Award finalist and the RT Reviewers Choice Award for Best Fantasy Novel. She is a frequent reader for Podcastle, and narrates the Parsec-winning flash fiction podcast Toasted Cake. Her jump to YA fiction with SeriouslyWicked has already earned her more fans, including a nomination for the Andre Norton Award.

In Seriously Shifted teen witch Cam isn’t excited about the idea of learning magic, but when a trio of her mother’s wicked witch friends decide to wreak havoc in her high school she has no choice but to try to stop them. Kirkus Reviews praises: “Accomplished plotting teams up with a winsome narrator to give readers a bewitching story.” This lighthearted coming of age story is sure to appeal to young teens and any adults who like a bit of whimsy in their life.
