Starting Friday, April 22, the public is invited to visit the 1,000-variety historic bearded iris collection and stroll through the peony fields to view over 300 varieties of peonies, including heirloom and recent peony introductions, at Brooks Gardens. There is no charge to visit the gardens.
The peony fields and historic bearded iris garden will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through June 15. Cut peonies, bouquets and potted peony and iris plants will also be available for purchase. Planting and growing tips will also be provided.
