Festive Activities include the
annual holiday ship parade, giant nutcrackers, new menu items,
SANTA brunch celebrations, and visits from Santa
November 28, 2012 – Salty’s on the Columbia is celebrating the holidays with magical life-size nutcrackers, the sparkle of holiday ships, Old Saint Nick, and newly created dishes to savor. There are several enticing activities to choose from, all with a warm, celebratory spirit.
On Friday, December 7th, the annual parade of Christmas Ships assembles on the Columbia River and begins their journey right in front of Salty’s harbor. The beautiful glowing ambiance at Salty’s, enhanced by the festive décor of hand-painted nutcrackers, offers a gorgeous setting for guests to watch the ships parade by. Warmed with hot apple cider and heat lamps, Salty’s offers deck side viewing, should the weather permit. The Christmas Ships run from December 7th through December 21st. Please check www.christmasships.org for schedule details.
On December 16th and December 23rd from 10:30am-12:30pm, Salty’s presents their popular Santa Brunches complete with candy canes and a jolly welcome. Kids are encouraged to visit and interact with Old St Nick while parents are invited to photograph the memorable occasion.
