Dale’s Remodeling and Kelly’s Home Center partner to offer a Kitchen Remodeling Seminar and raise money for Habitat for Humanity


Have you ever wished you could understand all the components of a remodeling project before you started? Dale’s Remodeling and Kelly’s Home Center of Salem, Ore. are partnering to sponsor a free seminar called Kitchen Remodeling Essentials that will educate, inform and help homeowners begin the planning process for a kitchen remodeling project. The event will be held on Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to Noon at the upstairs Cooking School at Kelly’s Home Center on 3850 Hagers Grove Rd. SE in Salem, and will include presentations, a light continental breakfast and door prizes.

Presentations will include valuable information on the following topics:

– Process: 7 Steps to a Successful Remodel

– Layout and Functionality

– Budgeting

– Permits

– Design Elements and Trends

– Selections and Materials

– Intro. to Selecting Appliances

Remodeling specialists, designers and appliance experts will be on hand to answer questions.

“This event is a great opportunity for anyone who has been considering or is ready to get started on a kitchen remodel,” said Dale Van Lydegraf, President of Dale’s Remodeling. “We find that people often don’t fully understand everything that goes into a home remodel project, the many decisions involved, and what makes it fun, too. This seminar will provide information on a myriad of subjects that will cover just about everything you’ll need to consider when planning a kitchen remodel.”
