“A View From Here” by Sharon Cook

Sharon Cook is a Currents Gallery artist/owner whose bold, experimental abstracts continue to amaze our art-loving community. Her upcoming show will take the viewer on an exciting journey of abstract expressionism.

Sharon has shared her thoughts, stating, “I live for the moment when my painting begins to emerge from the panel and take on a life of its own, like a writer whose character begins to talk back to her. My tools are palette knives, pens and brushes…and my hands. I try to open myself to my daily experience so anything can become an inspiration for my art.”
