DELUXE BREWING SET TO HOST BOOK SIGNING BY AUTHOR JIM LINDSAY ON JULY 14

Deluxe Brewing Company is honored to host local author, Jim Lindsay, for a book signing
event of his latest work The Sniper: The Untold Story of the Marine Corps’ Greatest Marksman
of All Time on Friday, July 14, 2023.

The public is invited to welcome the author to the brewery and taproom in Albany with a free
singing event from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Friday, July 14. Attendees will have the opportunity to
meet the author as well as purchase a signed hardcover copy of his latest work to take home.

Jim Lindsay, a Corvallis, Oregon author, chronicles the story of his friend Charles Benjamin
“Chuck” Mawhinney, and others, into a biography in his newest book, The Sniper. The novel
details Chuck’s battlefield exploits, while exploring the personal toll of being a sniper in wartime.
Jim Lindsay’s previous works include The Little Bastards and Swerve: The Little Bastards 2
which detail his life and love of the 1950’s, hot rodding, and freedom.

The Deluxe Brewing taproom is open to all ages and is pet friendly with both indoor and outdoor
seating available. Customers may order Deluxe Brewing craft beer, local cider, wines,
non-alcoholic sodas, or from a full cocktail menu featuring hand-made spirits from Sinister
Distilling Company. The on-site Deluxe Food Cart serves customers delicious brewery fare
during open taproom business hours.
