Englewood Forest Festival

Come to Salem for a magical summer afternoon in the beautiful, historic Englewood Park, an enclave of trees, birds and flowers designed by the renown women-owned design team of Lord & Schryver. Festival-goers will find a full and family-friendly day of music, dance, art vendors, plus presentations and hands-on activities for all ages. The festival is meant to provide community connection and to inspire youth to dream, and to provide opportunities for environmental education and support the arts. Performers include Ty Curtis, Paradise of Samoa, Aztec Dancers, Gail Gage Jazz and Salem Aerial Dance Co. Activities center on what people can do in own yards, gardens and local streams to protect trees, birds, wildlife, flowers, bees and streams, plus ways to inspire future scientists.
