Artist Opening Reception Friday May 13th 5pm-8pm
Abstract figurative works based on the 100 year-old Surrealists’ game of “Exquisite Corpse”.
Oregon artist express their sense of vibrant community emerging from these tumultuous times. The resulting figures are surprising, as the participating artists each create a body section without seeing that of others don along the way.
The exhibit will be comprised of both ” Exquisite Community” works completed for this year, and those from the exhibit’s inaugural year of 2021.
Co-ordinated by MJ Connors Davison, and assisted by Jenny
Siegel, both mixed media artists from Portland.
