Joseph Campbell, the famous myth scholar, told Bill Moyers, in an interview, “I believe cosmologists will eventually find that the universe is made of consciousness.”
Like all folk artists, I make art because I have Something To Say. What I say while I draw every line is, “Bless my heart.” There are thousands of “Bless my heart” expressions in every piece of my art. I draw metaphors of cosmology and quantum physics because they are where the modern myths exist, and change, with our expanding knowledge of the universe.
An opening reception will be held on First Friday, January 6th , starting at 5:30pm. Beverages from Manifest Brewery and wine from Sundance Wine Cellars, with music.
The New Zone Gallery is open every day 12-6pm.
