Learn strategies for identifying misinformation in online news in this librarian-led workshop. You will learn how and why misinformation proliferates online, how to identify and find authoritative online information, how search engines work, how to search Google and other websites more effectively, how to find the source of viral content, and more.An extensive set of resources will be provided and reviewed that you may access on the library’s Information, Misinformation, and Fake News website.
