New Zone Gallery SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: JoEllen Gregori Waldvogel Title of Show: MusArt

This show features paintings and drawings of musicians.

The body of JoEllen’s exhibit was created from two sources. One was
Musicians who performed in a venue where artists could draw and paint them
as they performed. It was an exciting challenge to create from a moving
subject. The acrylic paintings were done from photographs I took of a
musician performing in an Irish pub in Dublin, Ireland, and during a parade
in at the Oregon Country Fair.
An opening reception will be held on First Friday, May 5th, starting at
5:30pm. Beverages from Manifest Brewery and wine from Sundance Wine Cellars,
with music.
The New Zone Gallery is open every day 12-6pm.
