Rebecca LaMothe – “One Woman’s View”

An exhibit of paintings by Rebecca LaMothe at the New Zone Gallery, Eugene, during the month of February.

To quote Rebecca:
“This show is a personal dive, visually portrayed, into my inner life, while living the outer life.

Inspiration for my paintings comes from deep within, as well as from the outer world, compelling me to express. Painting for me often is my therapy, my spiritual practice, my refuge, my challenge, and my joy.

I love it when a viewer will simply experience my work from within and feel. There is such healing power in visual art, in the creating as well as the viewing. Color and form have energetic, vibrational properties which can touch us consciously or otherwise. I am touched and invite the viewer into their own relationship with my paintings”
