Run With The Wild 5k

A family friendly, dog friendly, ADA accessible 5k run/walk! This 5k will be held in the beautifully scenic Columbia River Gorge, starting at the Mark O. Hatfield (West Entrance) Trailhead. Views of the Columbia River will be seen along this paved route. Proceeds will be donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. We will also hold an event drawing – enter for your chance to win amazing prizes from local PNW businesses (details below!)
WHERE: Mark O. Hatfield trailhead (West Entrance) in Hood River, Oregon.
WHEN: April 15, 2023. Check-in opens at 08:00, 5k start time is 10:00.
(Pre-5k warm up with Wild Bloom Yoga instructor begins at 9:15)!
WHY: Wildland firefighting is a tremendously hazardous job. Our firefighters are exposed to physical, mental and emotional challenges each and every day in the field while protecting us, our property, and our land. Proceeds from your participation are donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. The mission of WFF is to support the families of firefighters who have perished or been injured in the line of duty — their role during medical emergencies and fatality events cannot be understated.
