Men’s Wearhouse founder George Zimmer will deliver the keynote address at the 2017 Cannabis Collaborative Conference (CCC), a two-day convention and networking event focused on the business side of the fast-growing cannabis industry, according to CCC producer Mary Lou Burton.
Zimmer, founder and former CEO of Men’s Wearhouse, and now chairman, CEO and founder of Generation Tux, an online rental platform for tuxedos and suits, has been a longtime advocate of cannabis reform and has donated to legalization initiatives in California.
CY Scott, founder of Headset Inc. and cofounder of Leafly, will also present a keynote address. Other noted speakers include Sara Batterby, CEO of HiFi Farms; Nicholas Kovacevich, CEO of Kush Bottles; Alex Tinker, cannabis industry co-chair, Tonkon Torp LLP law firm; Preston Greene, general manager, Yerba Buena Farms; and cannabis economist Beau Whitney, author of the Oregon Cannabis Jobs Report.
The 2017 event will be the third annual CCC and will focus on the expansion of cannabis legalization nationwide and provide vital information to cannabis industry investors.
The CCC will take place February 15 and 16 at the Portland Metropolitan Exposition Center (Portland Expo Center). Registration is open now: $149 for one day and $249 for both days.
The Cannabis Collaborative Conference and the Cannabis Creative Conference are produced by Portland-based Bella Vista, which, for nearly 30 years, has produced large-scale corporate, trade and social events throughout the Pacific Northwest.
