Grab some popcorn and a picnic blanket, The Oregon Garden in Silverton has announced the return of its popular Movies in the Garden series, which screens a cult classic every Thursday evening throughout the summer. The movies are shown on a big screen in the Garden Green – the heart of The Oregon Garden – every Thursday night beginning July 10 and running through August 28.
Doors open at 7pm, and the show begins at dusk. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for ages 12 to 17, $1 for ages 5 to 11 and Oregon Garden members, and free for children ages 4 and under. Season passes and family packs are also available. Parking is available in the lower parking lot, across from the Oregon Garden Pavilion.
Moviegoers are encouraged to bring pillows and blankets, as well as sweaters to stay warm after the sun sets. There will be food, snacks, beer and wine available for purchase; no outside food or beverages are allowed. Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome.
