Music Festival in Corvallis Sept. 1st

The Corvallis Imagination Music & Art (CIMA) Festival will be held on Labor Day weekend – Sunday, September 1, 2013 from noon until 10pm at Bruce Starker Arts Park in Corvallis. It will feature several local bands & solo musicians (Creighton Lindsay as the headliner). It will also include up to 20 artist booths showing and selling local artwork. This will be a not-for-profit event to raise funds to support local artists and musicians. It will feature a raffle for a guitar and silent auction for a performance acoustic guitar and donated artwork. This will be a family-friendly environment with daytime options for kids (face painting and crafts booth)! Biking to the event will be encouraged as the venue is right on the Corvallis/Philomath bike path.

Tickets can be purchased for $10 (under 12 free) at in Corvallis at Gracewinds Music, Grassroots Book Store, Imagine Coffee or online (http://cimafestival2013.bpt.me/) or $12 at Bruce Starker Arts Park on the day of the event. Volunteers (three hours) get you in free and with a special keepsake lanyard.
