Spring is here, time to think about drinking luscious white wines! In honor of Spring, and the region’s best whites, Salty’s on the Columbia is excited to welcome over a dozen Oregon wineries to this years, Panoramic Pinot Gris Celebration, on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 9p.m.
Salty’s Executive Sous Chef Sean Kearney and Lunch Chef Damian Mann have created a buffet menu of sensational and delicious appetizers including such items as Dungeness crab, smoked duck, trout, cheese and more, all of which pair perfectly with Beverage Manager Megann Williams’ Oregon Pinot Gris selections. Guests can sip a variety of Oregon -produced Pinot Gris while chatting with the winery’s winemaker or representative about the passion, process and perfection that goes into creating each collection, and at the same time enjoy fresh seafood, local backyard ingredients and the magnificent view of the mighty Columbia River.
Guests can purchase bottles of Pinot Gris to take home for a one night only discounted price.
