A Special Dinner at del Alma on Nov. 9!

We are very excited to announce a truly unique dining experience at del Alma on Thursday, November 9th at 6:00pm. “Made by Hand: A Collaboration of Local Artists” is the culmination of an artistic and culinary journey made by five local ceramic artists, the chefs of del Alma, and the winemakers at Lumos Wine Company. Each of the five courses will be paired with Lumos wine and presented and served on handmade ceramic dinnerware created by local artists Ted Ernst, Susan Pachuta, Renee McKitterick, Jeff Gunn, and Lynda Farmer. Throughout the creative planning process for this dinner, artists and chefs met and inspired each other to craft pieces and menu offerings complementary of each other to result in a truly synergistic pairing event.

All ceramic artists, as well as winemakers Dai Crisp and PK McCoy from Lumos Wine Company (www.lumoswine.com), will be in attendance for this very special evening of food, wine, and clay.

Pumpkin and Chile de Arbol Sopa

Second Course
Fennel-Rubbed Albacore
With spiced popcorn aioli, mole salumi and green olive escabeche, migas

Third Course
Pavo Relleno
Turkey breast rolled with turkey chorizo verde, apples, fresh herb salad, smokey blue cheese espuma

Fourth Course
Lamb Albondigas
Lamb meatballs filled with miti crema, Brussels sprouts, sherry cream, Pinot Noir glace, seasonal garnishes

Fifth Course
Vanilla Torrija
Spanish-style bread pudding, mole manchamanteles, compressed pineapple, vanilla ice cream, pineapple tuile
