Grab some popcorn and a picnic blanket, The Oregon Garden in Silverton has announced the return of its popular Movies in the Garden series, which screens a classic movie every week throughout the summer. The movies are shown on a big screen in the Garden Green – the heart of The Oregon Garden – every Thursday night beginning July 11 and running through August 29.
Doors will open at 7pm, and the show will begin at dusk. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for children ages 12 to 17, $1 for children ages 5 to 11 and Oregon Garden members, and free for children ages 4 and under. Parking is available in the lower parking lot, across from the Pavilion.
Moviegoers are encouraged to bring pillows, blankets and sweaters to stay warm after the sun sets. There will be food, snacks and beer and wine available; no outside food or beverage allowed. Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome.
