Newport, OR -The 5th Anniversary Celebration of the Newport Celtic Festival & Highland Games is coming up on June 12th -14th, 2015 and the Celtic Heritage Alliance is seeking volunteers to join their clan!
CHA’s Volunteer Team Leader, Allison Keith, will be hosting a free Volunteer Extravaaganza at Newport Public Library located at 35 NW Nye Street.
Whether you want to learn a new skill, meet new people, learn about Celtic culture, or just find out more about what we do, you can drop by on Monday, April 27th, 2015 between 5:30 – 7:30 pm and learn more.
Allison will provide an overview of “CHA” and their activties and will answer questions for potential volunteers. You can check out the Celtic festival’s
crafty activities for kids of all ages!
We also have a new kid-friendly Facebook page you can visit today!
CHA’s festival volunteers receive a free weekend pass to all of the Celtic festival’s events, a souvenir t-shirt, and can attend the group’s “summer sun and fun” BBQ in July.
You are not required to have Celtic heritage to volunteer, so bring a friend, tell a co-worker and make the most of your time and talents through non-profit volunteer work that is both fun and rewarding.
